The pets that come to our Grooming Salon & Spa receive an extremely thorough experience every visit. We spend an hour prepping each dog, making sure to remove all mats and tangles, gently teasing out the mats in the painful areas such as the armpits, toes, ears, face, tail, and groin.
We trim the nails as much as possible with hopes of encouraging the quick to recede and to promote healthy nail growth between grooming visits. We shave the paw pads, remove the hair covering the genital area and the hind end, and we remove the crusty stain and discharge from the corners of the eyes and lips. All this is done before the bath to ensure the shampoo can penetrate the coat and reach the skin.
During the bath the pet will receive an initial lather and rinse with a degreasing shampoo to remove excess oils, skin flakes, dandruff, and grime. We then use a warm double shampoo to continue to remove debris from the coat and to remove any odor from the skin and hair follicles.
After thoroughly rinsing the shampoo, we apply silky smooth conditioner all over. We let the conditioner sit for 5-
The drying process is very important to us. We use a combination of towels, room temperature dryers, and a high velocity force dryer to achieve a fluffy, unbelievably soft, completely dry coat, with a luxurious sheen. Lastly, we spray and brush in a pet cologne to ensure a long lasting pleasant odor to the coat.

The Brushout
We start with the undercoat, and then we go throughout their whole body with professional grooming equipment including a variegated flea comb, slicker brush, currycomb, and FURminator®. We blow and fluff your pet’s coat and brush in a coat conditioner with an odor neutralizing scent. We often recommend this service between grooming to ensure the removal of excess hair smothering your pet’s skin. This process encourages the healthy oils of your pet’s coat and allows their new season growth to come in naturally. This enables them to warm/cool themselves properly and they are much more comfortable all around.
